 Why Certification?

By the nature of the development of this certification process, any Lay Ecclesial Minister, certified by such a process, can know that they have achieved a level of formation that is to be highly regarded by all in ministry and in the Church. By the collaborative process of ministry leaders, from such a diversity of ministries, a consensus of excellence is reached that would be difficult to equal. With such diversity in consensus, experience and formation in those who collaborated, the church can know that those certified are greatly deserving. It is my hope, that as certification continues, that such certification become a required item in a portfolio of those seeking to be authorized for ministry in the Church. This is a certification not subject to any one movement, but the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church.
